This is a short brass adaptor which screws on to the Parker Hale Rods for .22 to 6.5mm (Red Handle and Grey Shaft for smaller calibres), it then allows you to screw on the VFG Adaptor for US Rods (8-32 Thread) and use the VFG Cleaning System.

This overcomes a small issue with the VFG Adaptor for English Rods (.22 to 6.5mm), that we have found it does not screw on to the Parker Hale Rod fully. We have illustrated this in the photographs. This is due to a change of thread size on the newer Parker Hale Rods. So if you do have a Parker Hale Rod with a Red Handle and Grey Shaft, you may wish to purchase this Parker Hale to 8-32 Thread Converter and the VFG Adaptor for US Rods (8-32).
