This Steel Picatinny Rail is precision made by Contessa Alessandro & C. s.n.c. The part is precision made to fit the rifle with exact precision. The Sauer 404 has a specific mounting system with a recoil lug at the rear. Using two solid clamping bases the rail attaches to the rifle using torx screws.
