The rail slides on to the CZ 452 or 455 action from the rear. The recoil stud prevents the rail from moving further forward. This can be removed from the rail if needed. Once the rail is in position, two locking screws on the rail are tightened up to fix the rail in position. The width of the dovetail is 11mm. Please check your CZ rifle as there are variations in models with wider dovetails of +12mm, which means this mount will not fit.

Note: This mount is designed to fit the CZ 452 and 455 actions. You can see how the cut-out section on the rail matches the ejection port on the rifle. This does not prevent ejection but can hinder it in the forward or rearward position, and you may experience the case clipping the rail on the way out.
