Fitting to Optilock Bases: Although the rings will fit Optilock Bases, they are not designed for Optilock specifically. They are designed for the Recknagel mounts. If you are purchasing these rings to fit Optilock, take note - there has been a new design of Optilock Base introduced in 2018. This base has a step in it's design, which means the Recknagel (third-party) Rings will fit the new design, but they do over hand the edge of the base by approx. 2mm. The older style Optilock Base fits flush and no problems with it. See the image for an illustration.
